SFS Handbooks added to the Ellibs collection

Ellibsin ja Suomen Standardit STF Ry:n logot beigellä taustalla

Ellibs and SFS Finnish Standards have started a collaboration that has now brought SFS Handbooks to Ellibs. At Ellibs, we value the availability of standardised information and the development of expertise in standards, and we want to do our part to promote the sharing of information and make standards more easily available to new users.

SFS Handbooks are information packages published by SFS Finnish Standards that bring together key information on a specific topic or use case. They usually contain the most important standards in the field and possibly editorial notes to help readers understand standards in practice.

Organisations and libraries can obtain the handbooks for shared use with a licence, which allows employees and library customers to borrow and read the books directly on the Ellibs platform – regardless of time and place. At the moment, the collection includes 18 handbooks with more on the way.

Ellibs eBookshelf is a digital library that supports competence development and offers a wide-ranging collection of books from various publishers in one place.

✔ Branded platform – Organisations can offer e-books of their choosing in a personalised environment
✔ Flexible use – Employees can access books regardless of time and place
✔ Cost-effective solution – No need to buy separate books for each office or user

The Ellibs platform offers a tailored collection of books for all organisations, both big and small.

SFS is the central standardisation organisation in Finland and responsible for standardisation in all sectors, apart from electricity and telecommunications. We have delegated several major standardisation areas to our affiliates, the standards writing bodies, representing various industries. As a member of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), we promote the setting of standards and the consideration of Finnish perspectives in standardisation work, together with our expert network.
